CHARLOTTE "CHUCK" DE FRANCES brings a dozen years of educational travel marketing, sales and
development expertise to the PES team. Combining a background in healthcare and education with a passion
for travel, Chuck developed and led a series of global healthcare expeditions with leading medical and
pharmacy organizations for professionals, students, researchers and lifelong learners in a variety of
international locales including the Peruvian Amazon and Andes, Australia, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala,
Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Her program development vision includes catalyzing opportunities for cross cultural collaboration and
exchange while fostering global perspectives and partnerships in healthcare education.
Raised a few miles shy of "Cajun Country" in Baton Rouge, she graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State
University, earning a BA in Speech and Psychology. She loves the outdoors and her interests include hiking,
gardening, lifelong learning and meeting people with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints. Chuck brings a sense of
humor and warmth to all she meets.
Chuck resides in Redmond, Washington with her husband Michael McCloud and their adopted greyhound, Oliver.
